Super Awesome Face Scrub
I kind of love all things DIY, especially beauty stuff. I ran across a really great face scrub on Pinterest and wanted to give it a try. Turns out, it’s pretty stinking fabulous. I didn’t have a few of the ingredients listed, so I subbed some items and the recipe I’m going to post here is what I ended up using. Recipe adapted from here.
What You’ll need:
1 pint glass canning jar or something comparable (avoid anything plastic)
1 C brown sugar
3 T pink Himalayan sea salt
2 T almond oil
2 T avocado oil
2 T EVOO
2 T jojoba oil
2 T raw honey
1 t rose hip oil
15 drops Elemi (or Frankincense) essential oil
8 drops Lavender essential oil
8 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
How to:
Mix brown sugar & salt together. Then proceed to incorporate all of the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix until dry ingredients are fully saturated and fully incorporated. Place into desired container. Use 2T on face/hands about 2-3 times per week and enjoy!
