Thieves Household Cleaner

Slowly but surely, I'm eliminating the harsh chemicals in my home. This Thieves cleaner has made that transition easily attainable. It is extremely versatile and while the upfront cost seems like a lot, once you do the math, it's one of the cheapest cleaners available. It comes in 2 sizes, 64 oz and 14.4 oz. This cleaner comes highly concentrated and must be diluted prior to use, which is what makes this so cost effective. The dilution ratio varies depending upon what you're using it for. When you break down the cost, it's anywhere from $.67 - $1.32 per 30oz diluted bottle.

As shown in the photo below, I generally dilute mine to a 30:1 ratio, this is considered a medium potency dilution. It's roughly 1 cup of water to 1 capful of solution. I just used an empty cleaning bottle that I had lying around to store the diluted solution. No need to use a glass bottle, as you would normally with oils. I literally use it on anything and everything in my house and it honestly works incredibly well. Get some for yourself!

Young Living suggests these dilution ratios:

  • Light degreasing 60:1

  • Medium degreasing 30:1

  • Heavy degreasing 15:1

  • Floors 100:1

  • Walls 30:1

  • Upholstery, fabrics and carpet spotting 40:1

  • Carpet 100:1

  • Glass 320:1

  • Dishwashing 100:1

  • Hand cleaner 1:1
